Senior Drupal manager primarily responsible for all Drupal projects. Continuing responsibility with internal development and standardization/team ongoing learning and development improvements. Continuing development and tech lead responsibilities.
2021 - 2023: Backend Team Lead at Taoti Creative
Managing a team of 3-5 back end developers on various projects. Ensuring adequate resourcing on an ever changing number of projects with varying deadlines. Also, providing sales support, discovery, and ongoing client relationship management/technical advice. Planning and implementing large scale Drupal 9/10 builds for my team. Spearheading company wide technical initiatives such as standards, full CI/CD, unified feature implementation and quality. Creating standardization and improved developer experience with Drupal Scaffolding plugins to support Taoti’s work with various hosting platform.
2018-2021: Developer at Taoti Creative
Initially primarily Drupal 8 with some 6 and 7 support work, later Drupal 9. Working with various enterprise, governmental and non-profit clients. Significant projects with leadership roles have included websites for the International Franchise Association and Field to Market, as well as participating in planning and orchestrating a move to a CI based workflow for new projects. Worked on many integrations & migrations including with Salesforce, Neon, Nimble, and setting up Drupal based API endpoints. Launched multiple Drupal 9 builds.
2017-2018: Freelance Developer at North Studio
Major projects included Lethbridge College, WellGo USA Drupal 8 rebuild TMW Systems (Drupal 7 support & Drupal 8 rebuild), EBSI (D8), responsibilities included primary development ownership and working with external providers and CI/Tooling.
2016 - Ongoing: Drupal contributor and project maintainer
Maintainer of drupal/color_field module – brought the 8.x branch up to a stable release with a test suit. Ported and maintained Drupal 8 branch of Advanced Aggregates (AdvAgg). Took over maintainership of Views Slideshow module for both Drupal 7 and 8. Introduced test suite for D8 branch, brought the number of open bug reports from ~180 to generally under 10 Maintain and or contribute to a wide variety of Drupal modules with ahundreds of issue queue credits and more 1000+ commits on D.O.
2012 - Ongoing: development/consulting
Develop various web solutions, primarily using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS. Highlights included launching a Drupal 8 live site in October 2015 (one of the first Drupal 8 public sites). Some clients include Nestle, Victoria Community Health Co-op, and many regional/local projects.
